When you lose someone you care for dearly, the loss brings about hurt, filling you with pain and grief. You reflect on all the shared memories from the past and think of what could have been if they were still here. Do we indeed, in life, plan to funeralize, lay someone to rest, or bury our loved one? For me, that answer is no. It was even difficult to speak of my uncle in the past tense and trying not to cry while making his arrangements. At that moment with the funeral team, these arrangements were now a form of completion, of finalization. Actually, if I am completely honest with myself, it seemed unbelievable. But what is real is I cannot thank Precious Memories Mortuary and their exceptional team enough. The PMM team provided my family and me, the support we needed to complete this important assignment. I can admit that we provided the PMM team with limited and basic information due to our emotional state during our efforts to prepare for my uncle's ceremonial transition. However, this professional team wholeheartedly filled in all the blanks with their superior knowledge and expertise.

My family left the office knowing our loved one was in good hands. The PMM team remained in close contact with my family, checking to see if we needed any additional assistance from the funeral home before the services. I also want to commend the funeral home team for how well they cared for my family member. My uncle laid in state for public viewing this past Friday, 08/27/2021, from 1 pm - 8 pm. I received multiple phone calls conveying how well Lorenzo looked, calling him “Super-fly” and “GQ.” A few even stated he was “dressed to impress, laying in the bed, awaiting a good dream.” Then, to top off the positive comments, one said, “Lorenzo was ready to roll, just lying in bed like he was about to get up at any given moment.” Of course, we did not want that. :)

Before I arrived at the church on Saturday, 08/28/2021, the funeral home director communicated with me again to ensure all arrangements proceeded as discussed. When my family arrived at the church, the PMM team welcomed us with open arms, assisting with masks, corsages, boutonnieres, programs, and the family line-up. Equally important to us, the PMM team helped Lorenzo's eighty-two-year-old mother, who has great difficulty walking. If I could sum up my experience in one sentence, I would say this. The extreme level of kindness and courtesy demonstrated by the PMM team to my family was surpassed by their level of professionalism and dedication. It was undoubtedly matched by the care and admiration afforded our loved one. This resonates deeply with my family, securing the magnitude of comfort and safety we all want regarding someone we love. I would unquestionably recommend this funeral home; if you desire a flawless operation based on respect, honor, understanding, thoughtfulness, and thoroughness aligned with high-quality excellence, Precious Memories Mortuary is the place for you and your loved one. Our beautiful daughter, sister of 4 sisters along with mother of four Keniesha J Coleman home celebration on May 09 2020 was more than we could ask for. Lynn and his team went above and beyond! He made it exactly like we and her friends knew her as, beautiful, brilliant as a shining star and more. The gift we lost they took that and made it out of a gift of giving to us. She seemed as if She was at perfect peace. Everything was flawless! We could not have asked for more, if we had they would have done it. Thanks Lynn God has truly given you a gift for this.
