Meet our President / Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr. Lynn Conner, Jr.

Mr. Lynn Conner, Jr. is a giant in the industry who stands in a class all by himself.

A native of Waxahachie, Texas, Mr. Conner was anointed with a calling to not only serve families but help them in their most difficult times. 

Mr. Conner studied and trained under the late Dr. Gregory W. Spencer (owner and founder of Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors, Fort Worth, Texas) who was the epitome of a Funeral Director. Dr. Spencer and Mr. Conner had a relationship like Elijah and Elisha in the Bible and Mr. Conner received a double portion of the knowledge and training that Dr. Spencer gave him. Working under him and standing on his shoulders, Mr. Conner was equipped to handle any level of service. 

As a child, it was always a dream that he would one day open the doors to his very own funeral home. Having faith and believing in God, his prayers were not only answered but favor was granted upon Mr. Conner. 

Mr. Conner served and assisted funeral directors at different firms before opening the doors to Precious Memories Mortuary. Many people across the United States has called upon him and the Lynn Conner Elite Guard just to see him march down the aisle and carry the casket on his shoulders with poise and class. He is also known to many as The High-stepper. 

Besides offering first class services, Mr. Conner talents goes far beyond measures. He is a florist (Flowers By Lynn) and takes time making every floral arrangement with the utmost care taking into consideration every small detail of the design. He customizes every service differently and designs every program specially for every family. 

As CEO / President, Mr. Conner fully devoted his time to making sure every family is treated with dignity and respect. His goal is to turn frowns into smiles, and turn ordinary memories into Precious Memories.

Mr. Kedrick L. Proby, LFD

Meet our Assistant General Manager / Licensed Funeral Director (U-1638)

Mister Kedrick L. Proby, known as THEE Funeral Extraordinare, was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana.

He is a proud member of the Peaceful Rest Baptist Church, where Dr. R. Timothy Jones is Pastor.

After graduating from Huntington High School, he went on to pursue his college education, at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA. After graduating with Degree’s in: Liberal Arts and English (with a concentration group in Arts/Communications) he matriculated back to the Shreveport area, landed a position with the business division of At&t, as a small business consultant.  After just four months, he resigned and focused his full attention, on persuing an education in Mortuary Science.

Throughout his undergraduate career, he would commute back to Shreveport on the weekends / holidays, and work as a funeral attendant at Good Samaritan Funeral Home. While pursing his education in the Arts of Funeral Directing, he was offered a full time position at Good Samaritan Funeral Home. After completing his mortuary science education, he passed the board examination and became a Licensed Funeral Director.

Mr. Proby practiced The Art of Funeral Directing, at Good Samaritan Funeral Home for 15 years, and served as Lead Funeral Director.  In the year of 2018 God led me to step out on Faith, and join the Precious Memories Mortuary Team, as the Manager of Operations / LFD. He now currently serves as the Assistant General Manger / LFD at Precious Memories Mortuary.

He also is serves as a Certified and Sworn in Louisiana Deputy, for the Caddo Parish Assessor/Sheriff Division.

Mrs. Ozell G. Garner Woodson

General Manager / Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer (E-2368)

Mrs. Woodson has been with the Precious Memories Mortuary team for several years. She serves as our Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer.

With an extensive experience in the funeral industry, she brings her expertise to the table to lead our company in a new direction as we strive for a new era of excellence and elegance.
