Her Journey
LILLIE PEARL JENKINS was born to Richard Jenkins and Ivory Marshall Jenkins on December 16, 1956.
Early in life, she was baptized at Zion Rest Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Jason T. Thomas.
She was educated in the Caddo Parish School System and attended Oak Park Elementary and Bethune High School. Lillie was employed with McDonald Corporation and worked at various locations for 30 years.
On Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 11:47 a.m. Lillie pearl Jenkins departed this earthly life and entered into rest. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Jenkins and Ivory Marshall Jenkins; sister, Minnie Pearl Jenkins and brothers, Jimmy Charles Jenkins and Rickey Jenkins.
Cherished memories will forever live in the hearts of her son, Leshay Jenkins; daughter, Latisha C. Jenkins both of Shreveport, La; grandchildren, Jarverreay Graves, DeMoses Jenkins, Demairion Jenkins, Trilesha Jenkins all of Shreveport, Louisiana and Lashayla Hammonds of Virginia; great grandchildren, Nova Hammonds and Ava A. Jenkins and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
