Odis Taylor Jr.

Odis Lee Taylor Jr, was born on March 29, 1948 to the proud parents of Odis and Mattie Taylor in Belcher, Louisiana. 

Odis accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized by Reverend Patterson on the river bank at an early age. Odis Taylor and his siblings joyfully sand the good news of the gospel on the radio stations every Sunday morning. Being a caring and diligent provider, Odis was a truck driver for Foremost and Borden Dairy Companies for many years.

Odis Taylor Jr, was called from labor to reward on July 12, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Odis and Mattie Taylor, two daughters, Diana and Laura Mechelle and his sister, Ora Dell.

The memory of Brother Odis Taylor Je will forever be cherished by his beloved children: Richard Taylor (Kimberly) of McKinney, TX and Beverly Petties (Al) of Las Vegas, NV, Odis Green (Cynthia) of Shreveport, La, Tomika Bate (David) of Shreveport,La, Brain Jackson (Renee) of Atlanta, Ga and Keith Robinson of Shreveport, La; Four sisters Gloria Arellanes of Los Angeles,CA, Doris Harris (Dion) of Ennis, Tx, Judy Manning of Mesquite, Tx and Lynette Aikens of Shreveport, L; Three brothers, Charles Taylor, Lee Author (Lessie) and Donald Aikens of Shreveport, La and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other beloved relatives and cherished friends.
