Mr. Jerry Hayes Obituary
The celebration of life honoring Mr. Jerry Hayes will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., in the sanctuary of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Mr. Hayes will rest in the gardens of Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Hayes will lie in state on Friday between the hours of 12:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Precious Memories Mortuary.
Jerry "Red" Hayes was born on October 13, 1965 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Mr. Thurmon Hayes Sr. and Mrs. Babrbara Wynder-Hayes. He was the third of five children born to this union.
He was proceeded in death by his parents and one brother (Christopher Hayes). He received his formal education at Walnut Hill School. He worked on Automobiles which is a Hayes trait. He is survived by his children. Shunjerresh Stephens, LaGabrian Stephens, Jermie Jones, Courtney Jones, Whitney Jones-Narvaja,(J.R. Narvaja), and Tangina Jones, Two Sisters and One Brother Grace Melendez(Juan), Thurmon Hayes III(Cynthia), Carmella Hayes, eight grandchildren, seven aunts, two uncles, one great aunt, and a host of wonderfully supportive nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
