Bro. Morris L. Winder
Morris L. Winder "Bubba" was born on November 7, 1959 to the late Dan Winder Jr and the late Betty Joe Jackson in Shreveport, LA. He was the baby boy of four girls and four boys.
At an early age, Bubba accepted Christ and was baptized by the late C.L. Townsend. He served in the United States Army from 1977 to 1983.
On Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 11:06 a.m. Bubba departed his life at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center.
Bubba was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Bobby Ray Winder and one sister Vanessa S. Winder
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Katrina Winder Steadman (John), and Starlett Pratt, One son Brandon Pratt and nine grandchildren, three sisters, Lind F. White, Lorrie A. Winder and Yolanda W. Hines, three brothers, Ronnie W. Jackson, Dan Winder Jr and Dennis M. Winder, and one aunt Bessie Mae Eubanks. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Job 19:25-26 For I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth. And after my skin has been thus destroyed, yet in my flesh I shall see God.
