LEON HARVEY JR
Leon Harvey Jr. affectionately known as "Jim" was born June 26, 1928 in Caspiana, La to Lena M. Alexander and Leon Harvey Sr. He accepted Christ at an early age. He married Lenora Guiden December 29, 1949. He owned and operated Harvey and Harvey Roofing for over 30 years.
Leon set sail for heaven on June 1, 2019. He is preceded by his parents; one special aunt Susie Alexander; three sons, Randolph & Leon Harvey, and Glenn Edgan; one daughter, Stella Guiden Jackson; two grandchildren Chassidy Anderson and Demetrius Brown; three sisters, Thelma Samuel, Minnie Pope, and Ruthie Lee Walker; one brother L.D. Harvey
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, children: Janice Miller, Sharon Webster (Michael), Sharon Webber (Herbert Sr), Yolanda B. Palmer, Timothy J. Harvey, Josephine Houston (Edward); two special sons: Phillip Jackson (Gwendolyn) and Michael Mitchell (Shannon); sisters: Cora Dickson, Fannie Cawthrone, Laura Kelly, Dorothy Lewis; 30 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
