Aleceia Jewel White
Aleceia Jewel White was born on August 12, 1952 to I.C. White and Gladys Belcher in Shreveport, La. She was called to the bosom of Jesus on July 1, 2019. She accepted Christ at an early age joining the Willow Chute Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Robert Terrell. She later joined Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Brady Blade, being a faithful member until her health declined.
She was educated in the Caddo Parish School System graduating from Linear Middle Senior High Class of 1970. She faithfully worked for Schumpert Memorial Hospital for 27 plus years as a Dietician. Aleceia was preceded in death by her mother Gladys Moore, father I.C. White Sr, daughter Ashanti White, sister Vernessa White, brother I.C. White Jr, grandmother Ethel Beard, great grandmother Effie Moore, step-father Johnnie Moore, father of her children Ralph Sweatt and a very special friend Melvin Scott.
She leaves to cherish her memories three children, Toshiro White, Tereshova White, and Raffaleous White and a step-son Donald Sweatt. One siter Carol Patterson (James), two brothers George Beard and Gregory White (Marsha). Two step-sisters Beverly Brown and Bethola Smith(Conrad) seven grandchildren, Elexis, Shnuteria, Tykiem, Timiya, Dezione, Desmond, Zee and Omarion. Six great-grandchildren Braylon, Bryson, Landon, Lance, A'ziya and Adrian. A very special nephew Jamal Demming and a niece Isa Demming and a host of nieces, nephews, and relatives.
